Morton's impressive outing in the Championship caught the eye of Bayer Leverkusen manager Alonso, who has expressed his desire to bring in the 21-year-old on loan to the Bundesliga champions, according to The Times. The Reds had previously valued their youth player at £20 million (€23m/$26m) and it now remains to be seen if they are willing to let the youngster leave on a temporary deal.
