Everton are in danger of being issued a second points deduction in the Premier League and could be plunged into administration, a report says.

An independent commission will decide if the Toffees should be deducted further points as three clubs – Burnley, Leeds and Leicester – are plotting to demand £300 million ($374m) in compensation from them. The claims that if the trio are successful, Everton would sustain another points deduction and would likely be in danger of going out of business. The Merseyside outfit are set to be taken over by 777Partners, but the company will pay a reduced fee should they be relegated or have to pay compensation to other teams.
